NXT LVL collects personal information for the purposes of administering students, operating the business, generating and analyzing marketing information, and arranging Programs. NXT LVL does not store sensitive information such as credit card information, bank logins or account information, or social security numbers.
Participant hereby irrevocably authorizes NXT LVL to use photographs and video of student, family members, and guests and publish in any and all forms and media for the purposes of publicity, illustration, commercial art, advertising, publishing (including publishing in electronic form on internet websites and social media), for any product or services, or other lawful uses as may be determined by NXT LVL. Participant further waive any and all rights to review or approve any uses of the images, any written copy, or finished product.
On occasion, NXT LVL may use web conferencing tools such as, for example, Google Hangouts, Google Meet, and Zoom, to meet with their student as individuals or in groups. These tools are free cloud conferencing solutions that can be used for small or large group meetings. The platforms allow for robust audio, video, file, and screen sharing. They also foster interaction with collaborative editing and polling.
Interactive learning experiences may be recorded by NXT LVL for training purposes. NXT LVL will not share recordings with outside parties without express written permission. Students, parents, and guardians are prohibited from recording any of these interactive learning experiences.
The use of these web conferencing tools shall be subject to all applicable federal and state laws. NXT LVL will strive to utilize internet-based platforms, which are compliant with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and FERPA (Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act); however, due to the nature of virtual learning, parents and guardians also acknowledge and agree that NXT LVL may not be able to ensure confidentiality per FERPA, and that by agreeing to have their student engage in virtual learning, parents/guardians agree to waive the protections under FERPA.
